Lauren Howarth Off to Sunny Spain
Twenty one year old Lauren Howarth won selection to represent Great Briton in the Cross Country Championships in Croatia on Sunday 11th of December. This will be Lauren’s third European championships having won individual bronze and team gold at Brussels and sixth individual place and team gold in Dublin; it is Laurens second representative honour of the cross country season having represented England in Spain in the IAAF cross country; Lauren is Leigh Harriers fourth GB international this year, along with Shannon Johnson on the track, and Laura Riches and Dionne Allen on the fells.

Inclusive Club Health Check
 
Leigh Harriers & AC have completed their England Athletics Inclusive Club Health Check and passed with flying colours. England Athletics Disability Athletics Support Officer, Shelley Holroyd, has been at our club over the past week assessing and helping with completing the process. During this time we have updated the website with pictures, documents and links relating to disability athletics. Please take a moment to view the new information.
We will also be updating all our coaches on being inclusive and updating them on the latest information. Shelley will be on hand to answer any questions during this time.

Northern Athletics 12 Stage Road Relays
The 12 stage road relays will take place Sunday 21st March at Wythenshawe Park Manchester.
Leigh Harriers have entered a team; all names will be posted on notice board.

Adele Swanton is our own chartered physiotherapist.
Based on the 1st Floor of the harriers building, Adele has her own private physio room to treat all sports related injuries.
