Whilst some of the intrepid travellers to London were making their way home, other Harriers runners were preparing for race two in the Central Lancs Grand Prix. Lostock 6 miler was the venue for race two and the wind and rain was relentless making for very tricky conditions. However, What a race it was – Harriers were bringing their own storm! Firstly, huge congratulations to Dee Allen who took 1st place for Leigh Harriers in the ladies race which was awesome, brilliant Dee – well done! The men had some great individual results too – notably, Chris Benjamin finishing 3rd, Adam Teese 5th, Lucas 20th (first time running CLGP this season due to age) made up the Men’s team for Leigh Harriers and once again won the team prize, which is the 2nd time in two weeks!
Huge congratulations to all that ran at Lostock and well done to everyone that ran this weekend! As always, we are really proud of everyone. You all smashed it – Roll on next week!
